[Lucky Feathers]

Hi Guys!

I am now back from spending the day at my parents house - the reason for going to my parents today was to of course visit with my family, the animals, and to speak with the neighbors.

It's kinda a long story, so I am going to try and give you the short version. To start off my parents still live in the same house that I grew up in and our neighbors are the same as they have always been, we are all very close and they are actually a second family to me. The youngest daughter still in high school is like a younger sister to me.

Anyway, I went over to them to discuss the possibility of taking Cozi - they have had birds before and there last bird passed away a few years ago from old age - they have been wanting to get another bird for sometime they just don't know what they want.

Abby the daughter will be a senior next year and I spoke with them about her taking the bird - it would be a family bird obviously, but they would call it her. I said it could be a super early graduation present from me.

You guys might be thinking, but she is a senior and will be going off to college the following year - that is true and false - Abby will remain living at home and go to a community college instead of a university, so she will still be home.

Anyway, they like you all don't want me to end up giving up the bird if my health is not really from him - we are basically sure it is from his dust, but there is always a tiny chance it could be something else.

They have agreed to take him from me as a foster home - they will foster him for 2-4 weeks to ensure that my health is from him and if we come to the conclusion that it is really in fact him, they will give him a forever home.

It is actually the most perfect and ideal home for him because he will only be 15 minutes away from me living with my second family. I am very close with my parents, so I do visit them at least once a week and will just have to go right next door to see him. I will be able to go see him and play with him any time I want to.

They are all going to come over to my home Thursday to meet him and interact with him. I will then take him over to there house on Friday, he will go with his cage and toys and I will stay there for a while to help him adjust to his new surroundings.

More then likely he will be spending his life there and I will go over and see him and play with him every chance I get.
