new mummy of a cinnamon gcc

hello, i just brought my new cgcc "Pepper" home yesterday after a long wait. he (not sure exactly but I've decided its a boy) he's one of two that my local pet store had and i had spent a lot of time bonding with peppers sibling who I'd named "Ike" but i had to go on holiday and the store wouldn't hold him for me and when i got back he was gone so i decided to get pepper instead, he's not as docile as Ike seemed to be and is definitely quite nippy and becoming increasingly so, he loves attention and constantly wants to sit on my shoulder, I'm not quite sure what to do about the biting as I'm a complete newbie with birds.
I'm also unsure about adding fruits and vegetables to his diet as he's been in the pet store for quite a while now and I'm sure he's never had any fresh fruit or veg, i plan on giving him a healthy and varied diet but don't want to make him ill by giving him lots of fruit and veg all at once so should i introduce fruit and veg slowly??
