Im just like you Ashling, I cant leave anything outside that i find hurt, we even brought a rainbow snake in that had been injured when I was a kid. I blame my parents for my love of animals.
I hope the little guy is ok, and he knows you care and are worried about him without giving him huge hugs, petting him on the head and talking softly to him is just as good.
