I personally like the wider cages versus the tall ones. My quakers (homed seperately) both have different preferences.....My male likes a taller/wider cage.........and my female likes hers more confined.......it all depends on the bird I would say..........You can go with a wide tall cage, and make it fun in the bottom, rather then just getting a wide one and not being happy with it........There are lots of sites you can check out............
