HSUS Rescue efforts
I thought you guys might be interested in this article:

They don't mention birds specifically but I'm sure they are included in the rescue efforts. Of course my heart goes out to all the human people still in need of rescue and help, but so few ever bother to think of the pets and livestock and even the wildlife in times like these.
