So sorry about Tulip passing, sounds like you gave her a wonderful life and home. I have had all kinds of pets in my life but truly my feathered babies are the most emotional creatures I've ever seen. I'm guessing they are acutely sensitive to change in their surrounds and to every emotion I have as well. Ducky is no doubt feeling your bereavement. How do you feel about letting him stay in his cage or maybe letting him go outdoors, in a secured cage of course, so that he can be close to nature? Sort of the the equivelent of taking a long walk in the woods which always comforts me when I'm greiving. God bless you both.
