If you feel it is hurt, then do not put it back outside where you found it as it could end up as prey. Do you have a dog? If so take some dog kibble and soak it in water until it is soggy (completely soaked through). Once it is soggy drop one piece at a time (can break each piece into two) down its throat until his crop looks to be full. (Usually 2-4 pieces) Keep the baby in a dark, warm and quiet place away from your pet birds if you should have any. Call a vet in the a.m. to see if they have the phone number to any rehabbers in your area that deal with birds.
