Quakers are high up on my list of "wish birds" but unfortunately they are illegal in my state, California. Just recently a guy listed his two Quakers (male and female) on kijiji for a very reasonable price ($400 for the pair), including cage, toys, and food. I don't know how he got them, and not sure if I should ask. I don't really know how the whole law works, and it's just got me curious. Could someone get into trouble for buying those Quakers from him?
