Nashville Bird Boarding and care?

Hi All.

I am moving from Denver to Nashville in about 2 weeks and taking along my Umbrella Cockatoo, Maggie, who has been with me for 6 years or so (have had her since a baby).

Here in Denver we have an AWESOME bird store (Creative Play Centers) that has supplies, bird rescue and great bird boarding. My Umbrella actually loves being boarded since they take such good care of her, play with her often, and she gets a chance to get out of her comfort zone, which she seems to like.

Does anyone know of such a place in Nashville, Tn? I've looked around on-line with no luck.

I might even want to find a place to board her for a few days after I arrive, since the 3 day trip will be enough for her, and I don't want to put her through more days of unpacking, etc.

As for travel, I have a small acrylic cage that I hope to use. It has good ventalation and I will be with her at all times, and get her out at stops. She LOVES to ride in the car, but only un-caged. But there is no way I can travel 1800 miles with her out of the cage.

Yes, it is going to be quite the trip. But I am confident it will turn out OK.

Cheers,
Bryan and Maggie...
