I just got a great surprise--my wife and kids got me a late birthday present--by Thursday evening I'll be living with a recently weaned sun conure!
. . . of course, I'd just made arrangements to adopt a five year old Hawk-headed parrot as well . . .
Anyway, I'm really excited. Not sure how I'll be able to quarentine them seperately in a house this small, but I'm sure I'll think of something. Perhaps I can convert the kid's bedrooms into bird roo . . . .oh right. Legally I do need to provide the kids with shelter . . .
I'm sooo excited!
