I've been watching this site for a while now and wanted to introduce myself and my birds. I habe been breeding English Budgies for a while. And I have a rescued RB2 that I found in the paper. When I first saw her I was appalled, then it was an obsession to have her and give her a forever home. She was a victum of domestic abuse, she had her upper mandible bitten off by her mate. She was then placed and that home was unable to keep her due to time, family, and guilt. I have the time. She is my baby.
I'd love to have another someday, if they are like her, she is so easy. I have attached photos of her when I got her and as she is now. I've heard this is common with 2'S. Has any one else got a special needs bird?
