Hello I have a rather stupid
question about one of my male budgies. How long will he chase and catch the females in the cage? I had a very timid budgie that was rehomed to me and is 5yrs old. I went to rescue and obtained 3 more budgies to make them a happy group. By chance I got one female and 2 males. One male had his wing broken but is doing just fine the other male thinks his job is to pregnate the females several times a day. He will not leave the ladies alone and I don't know if I should seperate them or what. I do not want to breed them. The females have started to tear the paper at the bottom of their cage now so I'm not sure if this is a sign of eggs to come?
I'm new to having birds and so I need some advice.
