Oh yeah! And I work at the local movie theater. How could I have forgotten that?! Yes, I am in high school too.
And if mirrors cause mental problems, then my little girlie should be real messed up. I think half of her toys have mirrors. I think I'm just going to suck it up and buy a cage. I can afford it, however much I don't want to spend any thing. I guess you could say I'm not a typical teenager. I have several hundred dollars in my bank account, and don't want to spend a dime. It's only because of what I want when I "grow up". I've been meaning to get a cage, but like I said, I can't find one I like. Well, there are a few at one pet store. Nonetheless, I love my little Mokey. I had to put a snap on her cage door when she has to be inside else she just flips it open. She pretty much sticks to the cage top all day long, playing with her wind chimes. She jumps to my arm and rides around on my shoulder and in my hair. She is very opinionated and still bites, though not as hard as she used to. I will have had her a year come December 7th.
I need to buy my love birds some things too. Up until two days ago they didn't even have a perch. And we have had them since what... May, I think? My freaking sister only gave them to me bacause they interrupted her sleeping all day. Would loveirds like Cozy Sacks? Mine are cuddly once they figure out that they are not going to escape my hand.
As for my chicken dears, they are still babies, most of them, and only now the males have tried crowing. This is the best time. Their screams are so cute. And they are very fuzzy. They are the ones with the afros. Also, the polish are non-layers so I won't have to worry about eggs much. The dogs, which thankfully don't touch my lovelies, take care of any eggs that they may find.
I love my schedule though. If I didn't have all this to do I would just sit in the house and watch Animal Planet and Mythbusters all day long. Luckily there is never a dull moment. And if there is I can go out in the field and play with the baby horses. We have some of the freakiest looking colts this year. A black filly, a hackney pony filly, a chestnut sweetheart who I call Scooby, and a dark grey colt(Casper or Traveller, we don't know yet) who was as red as a sunset when he was born, who walks like the ground is not good enough for him.
