when you r ahnd is just sitting on the bottom, will he walk up to it (with 1 seed in hand) and step on your hand? Just to get the seed? If that is the case then you could work on it that way. When he does touch your hand with his foot lots of verbal praise and a treat. Keep doingthat an dhe should get the idea.
