Oh my goodness- it drives me CRAZY when I see or hear of handfeeding being done by just shoving a syringe down a baby's throat!!!!!
It's dangerous and not comfortable at all- a spoon works great, although a bit messy.
I used a syringe, but let the baby do the eating. Then they bob their little heads in the same rhythm they'd do with their own mama. I just barely pushed drops at a time in a slow even motion.
