Ive been looking around on this one ever since you posted. It does indeed seem the Rival quick rinse is a teflon compound.

All is not lost, they are very proud of this quick rinse compound so they advertise it heavily, therefore if you can find one of their pots that does not advertise it, it probably doesnt have it (they have at least one listed on their website without the quick rinse) Proctor silex also makes crock pots and their product specs list if it has a non stick coating or not, they also have a few models without the coating.

Im lucky that I have an ancient crock pot sans coatings :) Unfortunately its one of the smaller models and I have really been wanting to upgrade. Im glad you brought this up as its made me aware to look for something I otherwise might not have considered. Now if I could just convince wifey to get me a nice set of the tradional Calphalon for christmas ;) It actually terrifies me because all the family knows I like to cook and they like to get me stuff but they dont consider the teflon factor so I end up with alot of unusable things. Actually as much as I bust her chops about a nice Calphalon set I think I may just go to good old cast iron...once its seasoned right its great stuff and you cant mess it up :)
