All birds require a lot of work and attention ... deciding to bring a parrot into your life is a big commitment ! African Greys could also chew your furniture, they are very intelligent and need lots of stimulation... You where very quick to change your decision from a B&G to an african grey.. maybe you should do some more research and decide if a bird is really for you.. and if you will still want him after the novelty wears off.
