Why are you getting a baby so young? If you don't have experience hand feeding birds, then I don't advise you to start now with a 3 week old baby. Hand feeding cannot be done any way and there is an exact science to it - if you are not doing it correctly or the formula isn't prepared exactly right you can easily damage the crop which can lead to long term problems, injection, and death.

I advise you to keep the baby with breeder and have them hand raise the baby for you until it is weaned. If you must do this yourself then I cannot say it enough go to the vet an avian vet only and have the teach you how to hand fed your baby. Not just show you, but teach you with step by step instructions. It is very important that your baby be fed by someone with hand feeding experience.
