Ive got two lorikeets in the house and yes the mess drives me insane. Id put them in the aviary if i thought they would survive, but they are too tame, the others would bully them too much. Anyway we put the clear plastic around the cage, it worked really well, just find away to secure it so that it is easy to remove to clean otherwise its a real pain in the butt. Think i might try perspex or something harder like that. Plastic was difficult to clean and dry easily. Much as I love my loris I would never get anymore in the house they are far too messy and noisy.
