I responded to your training question in your other thread. Now that I know you've only had the bird for a little while, I think you should start even more slowly with training. Your bird is still getting used to you and its new environment. Open the cage and let it come out on its own and have some supervised exploring time. Read to it through the bars and play the blinking game. The slower you go with taming and training, the better your results will be.
