Hellohello

Hi everyone! My fid family includes two Quakers, four parakeets, and one baby cat. Our first pet ever was a parakeet, who we still have, and our love for birds has grown extensively. I'd like to share a story of our upgrade to larger birds, our Quakers.
Jabba came from a breeder when she was just a babe. Those were the days, there were constant fights over who could play with her next. The sweetest thing ever, Jabba slept in a little bucket next to our heads every night for the first couple months, we just couldn't leave her alone in her cage! We inspired a friend to become a bird owner as well. We'd often have little bird visits where the two, Jabba and Oscar, would get some preening done and cuddle up. Oscar had some problems with biting people and territory, needless to say the exact opposite of our Jabba. One day, Oscar attacked and killed one of their budgies. They couldn't handle him anymore, so we took him in to live with his girlfriend Jabba. About a year later, Jabba and Oscar started a family of their own.
Oscars habits have significantly improved, but Jabba has never been the same. I love the fact that they dated for a long time, and then moved in together and settled down. Jabba is still the sweetest thing, but sadly we are only her second greatest love now.
Now our lives are filled with quaker babies everywhere, and more recently, budgie babies have blessed our lives as well.
