I frequently see posts (here and elsewhere) by people who are considering a bird and want to know what species make good "family birds" or parrots that would be good around children.
I'm thinking of putting together a blog post on the subject (you know me and how much I love to blog about birds!
), but I'm not a species expert by any stretch of the imagination.
Hoping to tap into the board's collective wisdom to come up with some good reasons/testimonials why certain species are great family birds.
I'll attribute and link to anyone whose comments I use.
