I am new here!!! I am hungarian, i am living in Budapest.
Let me introduce my flock!!!!!:

Samson, the ekki male, he is like an

Csibészke, the caique male and Zizi the female, they are like twoo

4 budgies, they are not tame but we like them very much

Csib is the oldest of all, he is the Boss, his wife Zizi is a cute, charming little caique and Samson is the kid. We are living in peace and happiness.

A small story about us

I was in company with the 3 birds. There was two stranger caiques also
in a cage. My 3 (Csib, Zizi, Samson) was in free.Csib arranged his
feathers first and stared at the strange birds. Straightened up next,
than a hussar, raised his wings slightly, than an angel and started
turning very stiffly and slowly round. I asked my friend, who is a
breeder, what this body language is: strength ostentation, indicates
that this is his flock(Zizi, his pair, Samson, the ekki kid and baas
mizo) and he gets not afraid of two strange caiqes, if somebody wants
to fight with him, he protects his flock. It was forbidden, that even
would have fought for us !!!:-)

So, in Hungary ekki is not a popular bird. I'd like to talk with other eclectus owners about this wonderfull birdies!!!!
