I had a quaker, that I adopted when she was 15 and I was 15. We only had four years together, but man ... what great years!
I really miss her, because she loved to snuggle up with me and sleep beside me while I was on the computer, or just snuggle up to me on my shoulder. She was such a cuddly bird! But I didn't expect it to turn out that way, since she'd been unfriendly to people in the past. She also bit everyone who wasn't me.
It all depends on the individual bird.. but I'd get a quaker again, because they seem like such adorable little birds. I am biased because I've never owned a conure.
