A little irratated with Avitech.
I ordered a few things from Avitech on the 12th. I ordered AviGain, a pediPerch and a heat panel. My order totaled $124.35. Tuesday they called and verified my address and everything and let me know my order would take a week to get to me. The lady was very nice and polite.
I checked my order status this morning and was surprised to see that UPS had sent me a post card asking for directions. I called them and they asked me to come to them to pick up my package, over an hour and a half away. I told them no, that was not possible, plus I had paid for the package to be delivered to ME. They finally figured out my address was wrong. It was 123 Green Bird St when it should have been 123 Green TREE St (Not my real address but you get the idea).
The only thing I could think of was that Avitech somehow mis-entered my address or maybe didn't understand me when I gave it to them. I looked up their contact info and gave them a call. The woman that answered was very discourteous and a little rude. I was quite surprised, especially because the girl the week before had been so nice. The lady today had the whole "how is this my problem" attitude. She even said to me " I just can't understand what your problem is." And not in a nice manner. She said they would look into it but somehow I feel that they won't.
I'm not in any way bashing Avitech. I'm just very disappointed by their customer service this morning. I spent a lot of money there (to me anyway) and I don't appreciate being treated in this manner. Should I call them back this afternoon and speak to someone else? I don't believe they're always like this, the girl last week was SO nice! Maybe I caught this woman on a bad morning.
