I might not be the best person to answer this but I would say call them back and ask to speak to a manager. I also have a temper and do not take being mistreated well at all. I work retail and I would do anything for a client to make them happy because I know that a happy customer is a repeat customer.
Now if I were you I would call them talk to the manager and let them know how you feel and how you were treated. Explain that you spent a lot of money especially in todays economy and that this is unacceptable behavior and that you will not be doing business with them again in the future. They may actually refund your shipping. I have had to call and yell at best buy and bank of america before because they have messed up things before. Do understand that no one is perfect and if the manager does at least offer a heart felt apology then I would let it go because your complaint will be noted and hopefully fixed in the future.
