Please don't take this too critically.
Both images are really well done.
You sig pic is beautiful, the ad is well crafted and I agree that's a great and most worthwhile charity.

However, your sig strip & the other banner are almost the same size.
It makes your posting space seem rather busy and on the verge of being overcrowded.

The problem with such a relatively large tail to your posting space is - if what you type isn't of sufficient length, your "voice" can end up lost amongst all that visual traffic.

As you can see, I have kind of a long sig statement and I didn't want to change it when I added the pic banner. Even though my sig text is a different color, font & size to make it easy to distinguish from the post text, I had to redo the sigpic a few times.
Each time I made it a bit smaller.

Yes, bigger pics are nice in that they let me show off our FIDs easier, but with the rest of my sig already consuming a sizable chunk of my post's realestate, I felt it made the space too crowded.
