Your closing remark reminded me of something that happened when Tay was in 3rd grade:
One particularly bad day... I was fed up. I walked into the office and asked if the principal was in. Not waiting for an answer, as I could see her door was open, I continued through the main office and into her private office. I then turned my back on her and started talking about why I was there. She interupted me and asked why I was facing away from her. I told her I was not so much facing AWAY from HER... as I was facing TOWARD the wall. Once again, she asked why I was doing so. My reply?
(with very pointed stare at her)
"Well, since I feel I have been talking to the wall for the last two weeks anyway... I thought I would just cut out the middle man!"
Did not go over too well. I should think with how totally ticked off I was, she should have appreciated my sense of humor. Go figure!
