Yep- I know, a huge difference between the species. Kind of why I asked about folks who already have both.
I really like the overall personality of both, for different reasons. I love the spunky, clownish behavior and coloring of the caique. I love the comparative mellowness, talking ability, and beauty of the eclectus.
I've heard the caique can be very bossy and bird aggressive, though. I've heard the eclectus is more prone to feather plucking and stress, and hormonal issues.
