Smile Inquiries on Peach Fronted Conure

Hi Guys,

Ever since my beloved lovebird, Kiki flew away. My family and I always on look out for the appropriate candidate to join us and our Senegal Parrot, Kermit.

We've slimmed down to a couple of suitable candidate like the GCC or the Yellow Sided Conure. We like the active, clownish, outgoing, confident and fearless characteristics, and most importantly they aren't noisy and harsh in their calls (which will be an ideal candidate to live with us in the apartment and nt causing disturbance to our neighbors), probably just some intense shrills.

Lately a friend of mine suggested me why not a Peach Fronted Conure. Well I've never come across a Peach Fronted Conures before, but after doing some research on the web. I feel that they look really pretty and elegant does have some resemblance of a amazon parrot (comparison with appearance). Ultimately was the description as a much suitable conure in an apartment environment that make me interested to know more abt Peach Fronted Conure.

Based on my understanding I know that conures of the Aratinga family are of the noisiest parrots, and Peach Fronted Conure was classified under Aratinga. So I wasn't sure abt the description as "quiet", suitable in an apartment living, sounds of a contradicting to me.

Probably any owners of Peach Fronted Conure can share some of your experience and thoughts on this.
