Hi all -

I am a single adult, with no kids, looking for my first bird. For someone with no more than book knowledge about birds and for someone looking for a people oriented funny bird, what would you all suggest?

I'm speaking with a couple of local aviaries about handfed budgies, but I have heard from others that I might want to consider lovebirds.

I can't have any bird that is screechy as I am in an apartment.
