When we got Paradise our hans macaw the prior human parents took her to petsmart for a wing clip and they pretty much just cut straight across her back, she didnt need to spread her wings for it to be known she got a "hack job" all you had to do was look at the back of her. She has been with us for just over a year now and her feathers are just now starting to look like they should so It takes a long time for them to go back out like they should.
They will it just takes time. Your poor baby, we know exactly how you feel.
