We made a hanging PVC stand for our birds and used the PVC cement thats in the pvc section. There are a few to choose from and they dry almost immediately and hold like crazy! On a side note, although we wrapped some of the perches in vet wrap and they looked nice and really helped with the grip, they didn't hold up at all. The very first night we put it on - Harlow peeled off big chunks of it and Jezabel has been chewing off the remainder ever since. I would have to rewrap it at least every 2 weeks to keep it covered....
