Oh I don't feel bad it's a thing of the book saying do't do this n do this and i've always done the opposite with good results. I have read many books in the past, I'm dating myself that are said to be bad now. I still haven't had bad results. A good example is giving birds green beans. the book says they are bad n i have always given and I've seen here many give them to with no ill results.
I 'm not saying the book is bad. It actually lets peeps know birds are a lot of work and they are a pleasure too. it is possiblew to get the the wrong idea about birds n get turned off as well.
I was wondering what others thought of the book. In reality I have not read it but only heard what my wife has read to me from it. Actually I'm slacking off on staying up on stuff for birds. I should read up again/more for birds sake i guess. Personally I have not had problems handleing n getting on with birds, I just go with their flow and for 20 years they have all been strange birds to me! I have handled birds peeps say can't be handled. then again I have gotten pretty good bites from good birds. My first birds were rehomed by me and wild caught n I had 5 in an apartment, conures and amazon, I'm no longer sane but I liked it.
