I am a new bird ower, actually she isn't home yet. So I have been doing lots of research on macaws in general and Parrots for Dummies was on of the books I got and I see common things in it and other books of the same discussion.
It is very educational, but like other people have said, you have to read and take away what you want. I don't think it is meant to be a do this or don't do that, it is more a guide and if things have been working, why fix what isn't broke.
