I've read a few books about Conures and Parrot's in general and to be honest, nothing compares with the advice I get here. Trust me, if you are going through it somebody else on here will have as well, and if it's an opinion your looking for there are plenty of those to go round too
The best advice that you probably won't get from a book is to find a good Avian Vet and when health is in doubt contact them.
