Hmmm, I dont understand what is so frustrating to people about this kind of thing. I know many people who are better suited to owning a dog than a bird and many who got a bird and realized it wasnt for them. Now what is the difference of paying someone cash for a bird or paying them with a trade? If I had Chi puppies to sell and kept birds as I do now I might just consider. Im mean look at it this way. I had a horse that wasnt getting used due to many reasons. Rather than letting his talent get wasted to standing around getting fat - I traded him for a pony that our grandaughter can ride. Now the horse is beginning his new life doing what he was trained to do and the pony they no longer had anyone for is going to get busy making some kids happy. What is the differance? I traded Breeding Parrotlet Pairs for my Willow. I no longer wanted to care for all those pairs to not raise babies anymore but someone in another state where there are less parrotlets did. She has more than gotten her money back, the birds are well cared for and are still together and Willow has a wonderful home with my flock as my pet. Why is this so wrong????? The person is going to sell the bird anyway and then go buy a Chi puppy anyway....whats the difference???
All that matters is not how its paid for but the home you let it go to regardless of the trade.
