Rio is almost 2 years old, and I've had him home since November. I had seen him at the bird store I go to for about a year, and it was love at first sight. We took to each other immediately. Being that Yellow Shoulders are rare, he was rather costly....I ended up working at that store for about 2 months to have the extra $$ to buy him, and to get the employee discount
Since he's been home, he's become even sweeter and loves to be cuddled and showered with affection. He's very active for an Amazon....very playful, and loves his toys.
