Right after I got Monty I decided to try and teach him some things. We worked on "turn around" for about a month and he did really well as long as he could see the treat in my hand and I moved my hand around with him when I said it. I have to admit I haven't done anything else with him for a few months now until last night. I decided to see if he would do it only this time I showed him the treat and said turn around and he did it without me having to move it around.
Then I tried without showing him the treat at all and he did it perfectly
I'm so impressed!
I think I'm going to try basketball next, he already drops things in my hand on command so we just need to work on him picking them up on command. I tried waving but he got way to confused.
