So I am getting this 6 year old Golden conure tomarrow...The only other adoption I have done for a bird was really a rescue, My little lovebird, She lived ina closet the 1st year of her life with the light off, door shut AND a blanket over her cage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

So when I got her I didnt know what to expect, thought she would be a little mean, but she is the sweetest thing ever, And I figure it was because she knows I gave her a new life, A LIFE I guess you could say with a big cage and good food and lots of love and toys...But this bird I am getting tomarrow has not been neglected at all, he is very spoiled, And he is 6 like I said already, haha, Sorry dont mean to repeat myself, where as my lovebird was just a little over a year old....SO down to the question, How do I get this bird adjusted to his new home, He will be just as spoiled here of course, with MUCH more attention, The owner giving him away loves him dearly and takes great care of him, BUT works all day and has kids so is gone in the evening as well. I just want him to adjust here as easy as possible, and I want him to love us here....PLEASE if anyone has advice I really need it! I dont want to make any mistakes!
