My new flock member is very skittish and doesn't like to be messed with.... He seems to be adjusting to the new surroundings a little bit, as he doesn't run to the back of the cage immediately when you approach him and stuff anymore... But I dunno how well he'll tame down, I know it takes time, but I just wonder if he is just going to retain a wild streak or what....

Which brings me to a question.... If after time he doesn't calm down would it be better to just get him (it) a buddy to live with, and let them bond to each other for companionship? Would an untamed pair be alright just staying in their cage and enjoying each other (not needing out of cage play time) or what?
