I agree with Maya. My lovie grew up never even hearing another bird (I took her home at 2 wks old), so she kind of makes sounds different than, say, at my brother-in-law's house where there are many.
Before I got my gcc, Jack was fairly quiet most of the time, but compared to my gcc, who is almost silent, she is much louder.
Then I got a caique.
Talk about LOUD! Now my lovie seems very quiet. lol
My brother-in-law has a sun, 8 lovies, 2 finches, and a cockatoo on the way.
Now, his house will be the loudest for miles around!
Anyway, I love the lovies chirps, but, like Maya said, some folks don't. If you know someone who has them, maybe go hang out over there for a bit.
