to be honest teens only learn the hard way. I be she won't put her face up there again! she is ver very lucky that is the only damage that she got! 7 stitches is nothing! My U2 cased nerve damage in my thumb, bruised the bone as well as I should have gotten lots of stitches( but I didn't go)! my thumb is still numb in spots and that happened 4 months ago. AND I just got bit again on Thursday! I will be 34 years old this month...and you think I would have learned by now. My thumb area swelled up 5 times the normal size and it is still a little bigger than it ever has been.

In time you will pick up on cues that she is going to bite! It will just take time and lots of observation to learn the signs!
