Human babies go through a mouthing stage. So do puppies. Being that parrots don't have hands, they explore *A LOT* with their mouths. You may want to encourage nibbling on toys and other objects, however, it's still likely for her to go through a biting stage when she starts testing out her beak. During this itme you can teach her what is and is not acceptable as far as pressure goes.
