The late afternoon sun was nice and everybody is resting - this Aviary is such a joy to sit and watch for hours!
The peachicks got to spend some outdoor time in the breezeway

all the rest of the time they are busy busy.
I learned something neat about the splendids - they like to go to a sun patch on the ground and spread their wings out and lay flat soaking it up. like a little rainbow pancake!
