Birds eaten by cats!!!

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.
Sorry, if this is not the right place to post this. (Mods please feel free to move)

Every spring/summer birds make nest in my backyard. I like to sit back and watch them come and go carrying stuff back to their nest. This summer there were 3 new nests in my backyard. I can hear the babies chirping every morning. Today I didn't hear anything. I went outside and there are feathers spread all over the grass everywhere. That's when it hit me that the neighbour's cat (s?) has eaten the mama & papa birds. They wiped out the parents of all 3 nest in one night. I looked into the all 3 nests and the babies are alive. There is 4 in one, 3 in another and 1 in the last nest. The babies are no longer chirping. I'm beyond devastated. I'm so angry I don't know what to do. Plus, I have the urge to go hunt these cats down. I swear if I see these cats again I will surely do damage. An eye for an eye.
First thing I decided to do was google this situation. LOL.
Tada, I found this cool forum. Any advices.

This is one of the crime scene =(
