Since moving my cockatiel Miss Penny into the flight cage with the other cockatiel and parakeets she has shredded all the shreddables and chewed all the chewables and has requested more entertainment be provided her when I am not there to shred and chew as well.
So I went on a mission today to find some good foraging toys to keep Penny and everybody busy during the day, but it seems that most of the really fun-looking foraging toys were designed with larger birds in mind.
I did buy them a
Holee Roller, but when I got it home the holes were little bigger than I had thought. The large one measure 1 inch across. Do you think that is unsafe for the parakeets? I don't want them to get their little heads stuck in there...
So what foraging or busy toys do your cockatiels/parakeets like, and where did you find them? Thanks!
