Like i said, right now i have GCC and my sister has a parrotlet, and they've recently been separated (parrotlet was plucking my GCC) and Cookie, my GCC is VERY loud. She screams throughout the day, but mostly in the mornings and late afternoon. I've always heard GCC are quite, so i guess Cookie is an exception to *that* rule. Since Cookie's so loud, if i added a lovebird, would that make the lovebird loud, too?

I've seen a few GCCs up for rehome due to noise complaints and I have read posts on other forums about GCCs that are louder than expected. I don't doubt that part of that is due to everyone having a varying definition of "loud" and "noisy"... and due to the fact that every parrot is an individual.
Did Cookie get louder when she was separated from the p-let? Or have her vocalizations remained the same?
It's difficult to say if adding a lovebird to your home would make Cookie louder (or, for that matter, make the lovebird louder). Sometimes having another feathered companion in the home will reduce the calling and such to chattering... but sometimes it will increase the tone and volume.
