I have lovies and budgies. Recently, we lost one of our budgies to a freak accident. We think he was attacked by our fairly new lovie. He had his top beak ripped off and even with vet care, meds, handfeedings etc... he still didn't make it. We will forever feel guilty and we will forever miss him :o(
So, needless to say, I wouldn't keep budgies and lovies together. With supervision, strict supervision yes. But, nothing less. It only takes an instant :o( The memory of walking in and seeing all that blood and my poor Binky will forever haunt me.
