Question Overgrown Beak

While sitting with my fiance & our lovie, Lola, we noticed his beak is getting longer than it should be. Which is odd cause he constantly rubs it on his coconut. So my concern is this .... I've read that a majority of times when a lovebirds beak has gotten overgrown, its due to an underlying illness. Other than the beak, Lola is wonderful. He is extremely playful, and loving and his feathers look great. He's eating & drinking just fine & is a very happy bird. Any input would greatly be appreciated, thanks so much!!
